Our Services

Comprehensive Eye Exams

At Spectrum Eye Center, we’re dedicated to helping you see clearly and keeping your eyes healthy!  Our Doctors of Optometry offer full comprehensive services through a dilated eye examination to diagnose and treat your individual eye care needs.  Understanding your eye exam services can help you maximize your insurance benefits.

Wellness Eye Exam vs. Medical Eye Exams – What’s the Difference?

Wellness Eye Exam (Vision Plan with discounts)

  • General check-up for vision and eye health with no known medical issues
  • Determines prescription for glasses
  • Diagnoses: nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, or presbyopia
  • Does not include a contact lens fitting but we are happy to add upon request

Medical Eye Exam (Medical Plan Insurance)

  • Checks for medical eye conditions
  • Detects issues not corrected by glasses or contacts
  • Conditions: cataracts, glaucoma,  infections, dry eye, diabetes-related eye issues and many others
  • Includes treatment plans, coordination of care, and follow-ups
  • Prescription for glasses and/or a contact lens fitting is an additional service but can be easily added.
